OCA & NAAAP Mentoring Program Launch NAAAP Atlanta is pleased to partner with OCA Atlanta in their launch of MAAP 2, the second year of the Mentoring Asian American Professionals program. On Saturday, July 24, 2010, 30 individuals met to go through the program led by Kevin Hamada at UPS. Helping to facilitate were Ken Lee, OCA National President, Norman Chu, OCA Atlanta President, and our own Sarah Hawk and Fabian De Rozario. We were also pleased to have a keynote speaker, Vu Pham of Spectrum Knowledge.

Asians for Haitians Charity Event A number of Asian-American associations, businesses and individuals in the Atlanta region united to raise funds to help the victims of the Haiti earthquake. NAAAP Atlanta was at the forefront of this event with Fabian helping with the planning and Tom Nguyen setting up the website: www.aacgcharity.org. On Mar. 21, many groups came together to put on this food and culture event to raise money.

N3 - July 15, 2010 Almost 100 NAAAP members and guests attended today's N3 at Taki Japanese Steakhouse on Ashford-Dunwoody Road. Felix Chan, the GM of the restaurant hosted us with a wide array of appetizers and door prizes. We're pleased to announce that Que-Ann Cooney was named the Spot Award winner - recognizing her for her volunteer help and impact in NAAAP Atlanta.
