Come join us for a local activity!

Events are a way for members to engage in professional development, cultural awareness, networking, and community service activities. We offer a wide variety of events. Look around, and chances are you'll find an event which fits your needs. In addition to NAAAP events, we co-sponsor many events with other Atlanta organization.

Many of our events are designed to bring out fresh new faces and are open to everyone. However, some events are open to members only. Member exclusive events may range from rare opportunities to interact with a national speaker to our mentoring program.

Cheer on your very own NAAAP Atlanta Dragon Boat team at the 15th Annual Dragon Boat Festival at the site of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games Rowing and Paddling.  Hosted by the Hong Kong Information Center of Atlanta, activities commence with races beginning at 9 am with the colorful Opening Ceremonies at noon. The race has grown from a handful of teams and a few spectators to an event which is one of the hallmark diversity events in the metro Atlanta area. The event now boasts a field of more than 50 teams with over 5,000 spectators and a wide variety of Chinese artisans either performing or displaying their wares.

Last year the team came in 5th in the Recreational Division even after getting hit in the last race.  This year we've been in training since June under the watchful eyes of Captain Chong Luo and Coach Newton and I must say...we're looking good.

We look forward to seeing you there!
