Come join us for a local activity!

Events are a way for members to engage in professional development, cultural awareness, networking, and community service activities. We offer a wide variety of events. Look around, and chances are you'll find an event which fits your needs. In addition to NAAAP events, we co-sponsor many events with other Atlanta organization.

Many of our events are designed to bring out fresh new faces and are open to everyone. However, some events are open to members only. Member exclusive events may range from rare opportunities to interact with a national speaker to our mentoring program.

Save the Date!

Join us for another impactful event, NAAAP Atlanta’s 13th annual Chopstix for Charity (CFC), scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2010.

Chopstix for Charity has three significant activities:

1. Currently, we are seeking organizational and individual sponsors for monetary, raffle prizes, and auction items donations.

2. We will culminate at the CFC benefit banquet on Saturday, September 25, 2010 – a black tie reception and casino-themed party also featuring auctions, entertainment, and raffle prizes.

3. The CFC grant application process begins on August 1, 2010 and will conclude on Sept. 25, 2010. NAAAP Atlanta welcomes not-for-profit organizations to submit grant applications to help fund programs that provide services and benefits to the Asian and Pacific Islander community of metro Atlanta.

For the past twelve years, Chopstix for Charity has generated more than $325,000 for the community. Last year, CFC distributed $50,000 to 18 deserving non-profit organizations in the Atlanta area. Chopstix for Charity’s mission is to connect corporations, small businesses, and individuals to the local Asian American community via funding for programs that benefit the Asian and Pacific Islander population in the Atlanta metro area.  CFC distributes one hundred percent (100%) of corporate donations through monetary grants benefiting small, non-profit organizations that promote cultural awareness, provide education, or offer social services to the Atlanta Asian American community.

NAAAP Atlanta and Chopstix for Charity are completely volunteer driven. Dedicated volunteers from many local organizations come together each year to help make Chopstix for Charity a success.

Tickets will go on sale starting August 1, 2010.
