NAAAP Atlanta joined forces with UnitedHealthcare and the Venetian Hills Community on May 22nd 2010 to build a playground within one day. We provided the men and women power to implement the resurrection of Venetian Hills Elementary’s first ever playground! We worked in conjunction with various volunteers and organizations within the Atlanta community. The children of Venetian Hills have only had bits and pieces of a playground, but now they have a fully interactive playground, picnic tables, and a hand painted United States map on concrete to play and learn on. We are proud of our participation and we are grateful for the lives we have touched. We look forward to impacting more lives and making new friends!
Thanks to Thao Le for leading our NAAAP volunteers on this project.
