aBOUT CHOPSTIX FOR CHARITY GRANTS
NAAAP Atlanta’s Chopstix for Charity grant program seeks to fund non-profit organizations that provide a service, program or cultural awareness that benefits the Asian American community in the greater Atlanta area. It has particular interest in funding organizations or projects that directly engage community members who are making transformative and positive changes within our society.
In the past, grants were issued only to 501(c)(3) organizations. Since 2010, Chopstix for Charity has welcomed the applications from any established non profit organization in the Atlanta area that focuses on the needs of the Asian community.
Although all submitted applications are reviewed, CFC favors new and emerging organizations that are collaborative, sustainable and with the potential to have a positive impact beyond the one-time funding period.
