In 2010, NAAAP began a high-value collaboration with Project Management Institute (PMI). The two organizations have a common, shared vision: to develop people as leaders to meet the needs of our communities for generations to come. A workshop track during 2010 Convention was organized by PMI members and clearly demonstrated the high quality of PMI courses and the strategic value of our collaboration. We are now moving full steam ahead with further program alignment.
To ensure continued success, we would like to ask all of our readers who are also PMI members to subscribe to their Global Diversity of Practice (GDCoP) network and complete a short survey. PMI is embarking on an initiative to measure its engagement with diversity organizations like NAAAP. Subscribing to GDCoP strengthens PMI's partnership with NAAAP by providing PMI leaders with an understanding our reach to PMI's inner circle. Enroll in PMI's GDCoP network by:
- Logging into www.pmi.org
- Clicking on "My PMI"
- Clicking on "Chapters and Communities" on the left-hand navigation panel
- Clicking on "All CoPs"
- Clicking on "Subscribe" located to the right of "Global Diversity"
- Completing this short poll, Are you a "dual citizen" of NAAAP and PMI, once you have subscribed to the network.
- You may enroll anytime, but participation in the short poll is requested by April 1.
