The Atlanta chapter of the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP-Atlanta) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), all-volunteer, Pan-Asian American professional organization that promotes the career advancement and leadership development of Asian American professionals in all fields through networking, respecting Asian multiculturalism, and supporting diversity and community service. As part of a national organization, NAAAP is the largest and fastest growing Asian American professional organization in the U.S. and Canada. Through its committees, members can participate in many activities that bring together other Asian American professionals in community service, professional development and networking activities, just to name a few.
NAAAP National was established 1982 in New York. There are currently 25 chapters, ventures, and affiliates across the country and a growing national membership of about 3,000. The Atlanta chapter was founded in 1997 and was later incorporated in 2002. As a chapter under NAAAP National, NAAAP-Atlanta serves the greater Atlanta community.
Members: NAAAP-Atlanta membership, currently over 330, includes a diverse group of leaders and working professionals with various levels of education and professional backgrounds such as: Corporate, Small business, Non-Profit, Academic, and Governmental. Asian Americans of all cultural backgrounds (Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Filipino, Laotian, Indian and others) work together on our career advancement and make significant contributions to our community through volunteer and charity work.
